FAQs:
Q: Who are the pastors?
A: John and Melissa Diffenderfer are Mercy's lead pastors. They founded Mercy and oversee all of Mercy's ministries. Nathan and Ginger Kett are Mercy's worship pastors. Their primary responsibility is to encourage all in our congregation toward the worship of our Lord. They also oversee our musical worship ministry.
Q: What kind of church is Mercy?
A: We aspire to be a Biblical church — one the Apostles would find fulfilling the faith they taught. Our worship services welcome all expressions of Biblical worship. Some aspects may at times look Messianic, Charismatic, Evangelical, Apostolic, Reformed, etc. We desire no label but Yeshua.
Q: Who is Yeshua?
A: Yeshua is Jesus' original, Hebrew name. He is God (Yahweh) incarnate. He is the Lord, Christ, Messiah, and King. His presence is more real than anything else in the universe, and He is our greatest joy.
Q: Is there a children's ministry?
A: Yes! While no two services are ever the same, we typically provide a children's class during the teaching portion of our worship service. That class is freely available for children in grades K-5. Additionally, a self-service nursery and nursing mother's room is available at all times.
Q: How can I stay in the loop?
A: The easiest way to remain up-to-date on things is to sign up for our text alerts. To sign up, send a text message to 615-802-6547. Messages sent to this number are visible only to Mercy's pastors.
